Partners for World Health provides medical supplies and free health care to countries all over the world, as well as provides education to third world nursing students and nurses. My wife, a nurse, and I have decided we would like to help with their efforts in Bangladesh. I will be going to document the trip via photographs and video in hopes that the final products will educate and motivate more people in the future to help.
My wife and I need to raise $2500 each for plane tickets, rooms to stay in and food for the 15 day trip. I hate asking for money but due to the amount we need to raise in a short period of time and bills (One of these days student loans...one of these days), we decided to ask.
We setup a paypal donation button that will go to my personal paypal account. Any money that is donated will stay in the account until we have to withdraw it to give to the person booking flights/rooms. She will be trying to get us group discounts, since others will be coming on the trip as well. If the trip falls through, we will donate the funds raised to Partners for World Health. Feel free to spread this around and thanks for all your help. Here's hoping I can do something bigger in 2012 than I did in 2011.
